HYDRAULIC VALVES

CONTROLLED RETURN VALVES

The controlled return valves are used mainly in the supportive hydraulic system of the mechanised mining covers.
The task of the valve blocks is to perform the assumed kinematic functions of the stand (expansion, pulling in) and maintenance of constant working support.

TWIN CONTROL RETURN VALVES

The twin controlled return valves are used in hydraulic systems of the mining cover section. The twin return valve is used when it is necessary to control two independent receivers simultaneously with the use of a common powering signal.

DOUBLE CONTROLLED RETURN VALVES

The double controlled return valves are used in hydraulic systems of the mining cover section. They are used to keep the support of the roof-bar and other servo-motors in the thrust state since they are required to keep the set working pressure in their chambers, both the sub-piston and over-piston ones. 
The double controlled return valves, due to their structure, perform two-directional movement of the support piston rod in combination with the control system.

PRESSURE RELIEF VALVES

The direct acting pressure relief valves are used mainly in the hydraulic sections of the mining cover as the peripheral pressure limit valves in the receiver. The direct task of the pressure limit valves is to secure the hydraulic system against excessive pressure increase in the forced hydraulics units for protection. Indirectly, the pressure relief valves secure the most responsible units and elements of the mechanised mining cover section against damage or failure resulting from pressure increase. They guarantee the supporting value of the work section of the mechanised mining cover by means of maintenance of the working pressure in the sub-piston chambers of stands, roof-bar servo-motor chambers, front guard servo-motors, pulled and deflecting roof-bars and certain mechanised cover section correction servo-motors within the limits of values not exceeding the assumed ones and equal to the pressure for which the given valve was set.

CHECK VALVES

The check valves are used in hydraulic systems of the mining cover section where the hydraulic liquid is oil-water emulsion or other medium based on water. They can also be used in hydraulic systems of other devices, e.g. oil powered.
The check valves allow for the flow of the medium in only one direction. The opposite direction is locked.

CUT-OFF VALVES

The cut-off valves are used in hydraulic systems of the mining cover section where the hydraulic liquid is oil-water emulsion or other medium based on water. They can also be used in hydraulic systems of other devices, e.g. oil powered. Their task is to control the hydraulic liquid flow by manual closing and opening of the flow.

RESIDUAL PRESSURE VALVES

The residual pressure valves are used in hydraulic systems of the mining cover section. They serve as a valve providing constant pressure of the roof-bar to the roof during section redevelopment.

RESTRICTOR VALVE WITH REVERSE FREE FLOW CHECK

The Restrictor valves with reverse free flow check are used in the hydraulic systems of the mining cover section as valves providing damping of the flow of the working medium in one direction, whereas the flow in the opposite direction is not chocked.  They are used in installations where the working agents are slow-burning hydraulic liquids used commonly in mining. They can also be used in hydraulic systems of other devices, e.g. oil powered.

THRESHOLD VALVES

The threshold valves are used in hydraulic systems of the mining cover section. They serve as a valve determining the value of the threshold pressure in the receiver and return valve.
The threshold valve connected to the device or hydraulic system is used to open the flow of the working agent after the input pressure reaches the value of the valve set point.

REDUCTION VALVES

The reductions valves are used mainly in the hydraulic sections of the mining cover if there is a need to limit the pressure in the receiver in relation to the power pressure. The reduction valve can be also used in other than mining systems where it is necessary to limit the pressure in the receiver.

REDUCTION - OVERFLOW VALVES

The reductions-overflow valves are used mainly in the hydraulic sections of the mining cover if there is a need to limit the pressure in the receiver in relation to the power pressure. They also secure the receivers against excessive pressure increase (e.g. due to external forces) by means of the inbuilt overflow valves. The reduction-overflow valve can be also used in other than mining systems where it is necessary to limit the pressure in the receiver.

CIRCUIT SWITCHES

The circuit switches, also called the “or” valves, are used in hydraulic systems of the mining cover section as the logics elements, directing the flow of the working medium. Regardless of through which socket, A or B, the working liquid is fed, its outflow always takes place through socket C. The return direction is random and it can take place through socket A or B.

DIRECTED CIRCUIT SWITCHES

The directed circuit switches, also called the “or” valves,  are used in hydraulic systems of the mining cover section as the logics elements, directing the flow of the working medium. Regardless of through which socket, A or B, the working liquid is fed, its outflow always takes place through socket C. The return direction is determined, the liquid flows from socket C to socket B.
